Ha! Love the reviews. They're obviously glowing, if a bit difficult to follow at times. It would be fun to study translations like these and try to write fake ones.

By the way, I'm almost finished with "Office with Fred," and I must say I agree with your reviewer:

"A ornamental art buster living with fred picks up where the award-winning acquainted to fred left off...only the is more delicious, the plot is muckle thicker, the word pictures more vivid. and the ice yacht parts are, well, funnier."

Yep. Those ice yacht parts get me every time. :)

You may be interested to know that there were only two things in book three that I had trouble following without having read book two: the brief references to Buddy and Vernon. Now that I've almost finished Living, it all makes sense. But since most of Escape takes place at ETBU, the setting and characters didn't need the backstory to stand alone.

George has heard me laugh out loud so many times over these books, I'm sure he'll pick them up soon. I'll let you know what he thinks of the ice yacht parts.

I say there's nothing more refreshing as an ice yacht part in your summer read!

And I'm glad Snyderman noticed how hard I worked to make the plot thicker to the precise degree of muckle required.
