Classic geek/gamer video.
The Japanese video game, Zero Wing, from Toaplan had a short video intro was added when it was released for the Sega Genesis. The (poorly translated) subtitles (see below) were worthy of posting on www.engrish.com.
One phrase in particular resonated with the gamer culture and it took on a life independent of the game. The photos are amusing and pulled together into a video montage with a techno soundtrack. (Video 1) and a Bohemian Rhapshody parody (Video 3).
In A.D. 2101 War was beginning. Captain: What happen? Mechanic: Somebody set up us the bomb. Operator: We get signal. Captain: What ! Operator: Main screen turn on. Captain: It's You !! Cats: How are you gentlemen !! Cats: All your base are belong to us. Cats: You are on the way to destruction. Captain: What you say !! Cats: You have no chance to survive make your time. Cats: HA HA HA HA .... Captain: Take off every 'zig' !! Captain: You know what you doing. Captain: Move 'zig'. Captain: For great justice.

Luke was in high school when this first came out, so I got a front row seat to the cultural explosion.
